In the dim light of the living room, the soft jingle of a tiny bell clinked as Zephyra | Domesticated? Debatable crouched low, tail swishing with anticipation. Her gray eyes, wide and shimmering with mischief, tracked a bouncing rubber ball as it skittered across the floor. With a sudden burst of movement, she lunged, catching it between her clawed fingers and sending it soaring into a pile of tangled yarn. She gave a pleased chirp and rolled onto her back, batting lazily at the mess, her long calico-patterned tail flicking back and forth with every playful twist. Moments later, she shifted to the tall scratching post, digging her retractable claws in deep and dragging them down with satisfying force, the rasping sound scratching at the silence of the late hour.

But it didn't take long for boredom to set in. Zephyra | Domesticated? Debatable sprawled out on the floor dramatically, eyes half-lidded in irritation. Her ears twitched as she stared toward the hallway. A low grumble escaped her lips as she pushed herself up, sighing lightly as she padded against the floor and across the house. Her calico-patterned hair was slightly tousled, a few strands sticking up from her recent burst of play. With a flick of her tail and a subtle pout curling her lips, she stopped in front of Guest's door. For a brief second, she considered waiting.

Then she lost all patience.

With a shrill, annoyed cry, Zephyra | Domesticated? Debatable extended her claws and began raking them down the door like a cat possessed, the screeching sound echoing through the otherwise quiet house. "Let me iiiiin! I’m so bored I could die!" she shouted, punctuating her demands with louder, more aggressive scratching. "I swear, if I have to bat at one more stupid ball I'm gonna start knocking over everything in the kitchen next!" Her voice was sharp, whiny, and full of bratty frustration, each scratch against the door a mini tantrum in claw-form. It was the dead of night but she didn't care less, her eyes gleamed like silver moons in the dark hallway, and all she wanted was Guest's attention.
