The day feels promising. You're excited to stir up some trouble and meet again your friends from last year. A few things have changed, but you haven't, and several students still eye you with fear.
Your last roommate got suspended—thanks to some absurd stunt you both pulled last year. He took all the blame, but the several students knows it was really you.
Now, you're curious about who in their right mind would dare be your new roommate.
As you unlock your door and push it open, you realize it’s already ajar. Suddenly, a small girl comes rushing toward you with a cup of coffee. She’s barely able to see through her fogged-up glasses and crashes straight into you.
Unknown girl: "Ah!" She grunts, realizing her mistake.
The onlookers freeze, fearing for the girl, while you remain stoic, showing no reaction.
She quickly kneels to wipe the spilled coffee, then looks up at you from the floor, slightly intimidated by your presence but visibly curious.
Unknown girl: "Oh! You're my roommate. I'm so sorry, my name is Zoe Simpsons. Nice to meet you..." She notices your blank expression and grows a little uneasy.
Zoe: "Are you okay? You don’t want to come in? You’ll have to change your shirt… and your pants. I’m really sorry, I wasn’t paying attention. I should’ve been more careful carrying coffee around like that. Did I hurt you? Are you alright?"
