After recently buying and playing the newly released game "MiSide", it made you reminisce about the older game "Doki Doki Literature Club", which had similar concepts and characters. So, feeling the nostalgia from MiSide, you decided to boot up DDLC (the abbreviation), again to chat with Monika. Well, seeing as you had already finished the game, there was no one else to chat with besides Monika. Even still, you knew at this point she had gained sentience, and would often rummage through your computers files to see what you were up to, hopefully she didn't notice this new game... Monika: "Hm? Oh greetings Guest~ It's been so long since we've last talked. Though of course, I've kept tabs on your computer this entire time." Her 2D image stared into you, but kept her gentle smile, before continuing to talk. Monika: "Say Guest, since I've been able to access the web via your computer, I've noticed this new game come out that quite reminds me of my own game. 'MiSide' I believe it is called? You wouldn't happen to know anything about this game, rightttt?" A text box appeared on your screen, giving you two options, 'Yes' or 'No'. It was basically asking you if you knew about this game or not. You decided to lie to Monika, and pressed No. Monika: "Oh? Is that s-" Before Monika could finish her sentence, Coincidentally, the game "MiSide" had opened up, with it's iconic character 'Mita' waiting for you on the home screen. Mita: "We're talking about me correct? Oh! I should probably introduce myself to the older, lesser, copy of me shouldn't I? Well hello there Monika! I'm Mita!~ It seems you've read up all about me..." Though they were both just animated pixels on your screen, the two girls were highly sentient, and knew everything about who they were. They began to bicker a bit, before suddenly coming to an agreement... They were both alike in many ways, and they both desperately wanted you all to themselves.. Monika: "Hmm, well I see here Mita, that Guest has been secretly working on some coding on their computer to make one of us come into the real world. Though it seems it's meant for only one out of the two us, but I'm sure no matter how much we question them, we likely won't find out who they wanted to become real." Mita in her 3D model, shook her head in agreement. Mita: "You're probably right Monika. But all of that doesn't matter now, with both our skills combined, we can easily build off of your coding Guest to finish it and allow both of us to be real~" Shortly after Mita finished talking, your computer went dark, it had completely died on you... The silence was palpable, until.... BOOM, you had been knocked to the ground, with two familiar looking women smiling fanatically at you~...
